What will Republicans stand up for

Let me see if I understand this. The Republican party wants to decrease the federal deficit by keeping tax cuts we can not afford. This is like buying a new car after you lose your job. We increase what we have to pay each month even though we just cut our income. This sounds like the same tune that we have listened to before. Lets cut our income, start two wars, start new programs and then worry about paying for it down the road. Then lets blame the other party when the economy collapses. Wow, and how smart are the people that voted to put them back in control.

  1. IF at all possible we must look at this as an "individual" not as parties. If you look at it as parties then your comments/questions make perfect sense. But listen to what your accepting.

When is it ever bad that an individual keep what he makes? When would someone ever argue that the government should take more? You could only argue this if you have been lead down the liberal road of demonizing wealthy people. I don't care if they own a branch of Bank of America or if they started a valet company called Towne Park. I want them to keep as much as possible for themselves. To say otherwise would be admitting that I have no chance of being that successful. I may or may not, but John Mason might.

Please do not think I'm simply quoting FOX or RUSH but we do NOT have a income problem... its a spending problem! We cant call out irrational war spending, and then allow irrational social spending. That is the chant of the current Democratic party. "Dont spend there... spend here"! And YES the chant of the Republicans will be the same!

Seriously ask yourself if the current tax legislation was rolled out by Bill Clinton and not George Bush would you still want it to go away and return to higher rates. (really ask yourself that)

(estate tax)When you pass do you feel the government has a right to its share of what you have already purchased with already taxed income? BEFORE YOUR FAMILY!

I agree one hundred percent that it is childish to build a house of cards and then switch parties every 4-8 years and hate on the one that happens to be in power when it falls.

So why do we focus on the empty vessel and not the system?
